I am so sore! Last Thursday, it was a beautiful day. It was warm, and the perfect day for a walk. So, I walked around town for a couple of miles. The next day, I thought that I wanted to do more exercise, because I had been pretty out of shape. So, every day since then, I have worked out for an hour with weights and cardio, by myself in my apartment.
The fact is, I hate feeling like people are watching me work out while I’m so weak. So, really, it’s perfect. But I feel healthier already, although it does hurt to sit or walk, or stretch. We’ll see how long it lasts though: the last time I got really serious about it, the exercising only lasted a month or so. Although at the time, I was living with Tony and he was Really Not Helpful At All. Having your boyfriend laugh at you on the couch while you’re trying to be healthy was demoralizing to say the least. But really, I can hinder myself as well, so I’ll see how it goes…dieting
