The Tao of Friday

Still on hiatus, although clearly I can’t help but post some vignettes. Including Chapter LXXVI, which is kinda… bow chicka wow wow. If you get my drift. I get that we should all remain flexible in life and be adaptable to changing circumstances. That was just a lot of “hard” and “stiff” for a single girl to take!

Men are born soft and supple;
dead, they are stiff and hard.
Plats are born tender and pliant;
dead, they are brittle and dry.

Thus whoever is stiff and inflexible
is a disciple of death.
Whoever is soft and yielding
is a disciple of life.

The hard and stiff will be broken.
The soft and supple will prevail.
