Add all ingredients but the sugar to make a dough. Knead it and roll out very thin. Cut it into strips about 3 inches wide and 6 inches long. Cut a hole in the middle of each strip and put one end through the hole, so it gets all twisty. Make a pool of oil in a pot and deep fry until it gets all crispy bubbly. When done, put in a bowl and dust with powdered sugar.
