Spaghetti Sauce (serves 4)

  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2.5 lbs. tomatoes
  • 2 bell peppers
  • a little oil
  • to taste: salt, sugar, oregano, basil, and black pepper

To make:

Chop onions and mince garlic. Throw in a pot with oil and let it sauté and start chopping the tomatoes. When the onion is golden, throw in tomatoes and chop peppers, throwing those in too. Let it come to a boil and add in the spices to taste, which should be about one teaspoon of each of the spices and a tablespoon of salt and sugar. But make sure to adjust to your preference. When it tastes good, let it boil about 30 minutes or until you like the consistency. Remember to stir often so nothing gets burnt. Spread it on pasta or whatever you like.
