I don't get some of my friends. I mean, I'm leaving in 30 days for 2 years, and they can't pick up the phone? I mean, I love my friends to death, but just because they don't have any money right now doesn't mean they can't hang out. I mean, I have more fun watching them pack for a trip than doing lots of things. Besides, I miss them, I have missed them while I've been at school, and I will miss them the entire time I'm away. Can't they hang out with me a little?

But on the positive side, I spent way too much money shopping, but since I love to shop, it was okay. I love these little excuses.

What is a good book to bring with me to help esl students to read? I thought maybe the Scarlet Pimpernel, as it is one of the most lovely books, but I think it might be a little archaic. Maybe A Wrinkle in Time? I really don't know. Anyone have any ideas?
